Hello! Welcome to my blog, Built From Broken!

I’m in my late 30’s, starting life over after divorce. There is nothing like starting over again at almost 40! I grew up in Ohio, but currently live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

I attended Kent State University and got my bachelor’s degree in molecular/cellular biology (which I have never used lol). I was a stay at home mom for 10 years, which wasn’t in my plans, but I’m so glad that I did! I own a small reselling business online, called Pinching Pennies Resale LLC – you should look me up! Thrifting is my passion! I am currently in the process of getting my real estate license as well. I am a mother of two awesome boys, and a bonus mom to a great little girl. 

I wanted to start a blog because I LOVE writing, but I also have a yearning to tell my story & share my life experiences – past and present! My hope is that my stories can help uplift you, help you feel not so alone and give you the reassurance that you can get through anything! Sometimes I feel like my life could be a movie, so I have a lot to say. Don’t be afraid to reach out; I love meeting new people! ❤
